Workman’s Recruitment partnering with a well-established social housing contractor that has been delivering high-quality services for over 80 years. Specialising in long-term planned capital works, cyclical decorations, major works, and retrofit schemes, collaborating with some of the UK’s largest housing associations and councils.
You will oversee and coordinate multiple sites, ensuring work is executed to specified standards while minimising risk to personnel, contractors, the public, and resources. This entails adherence to client specifications and site health and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Supervising the team members, establishing appropriate performance objectives, and regularly assessing their training requirements.
Ensuring team members adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
Guaranteeing compliance with CDM regulations concerning work activities.
Conducting and documenting site safety inspections to verify compliance.
Regularly visiting sites to inspect completed works, identifying any issues, and providing corrective measures as necessary.
Assisting in assessing subcontractors’ performance and health and safety records upon completion of projects.
Requirements:
Full UK manual driving license
Background and Knowledge in refurbishments
Previous experience in the social housing environment
Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Company Package & Benefits:
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
