Workman’s Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established Social Housing Contractor with over 80 years of experience delivering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, local councils, and the education sector.

We are currently seeking a Social Value Coordinator to oversee the delivery, reporting, and administration of Social Value and Sustainability initiatives. This role requires excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills and would be ideal for a graduate with strong administrative abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate initiatives across employment, apprenticeships, community engagement, and sustainability.
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet Social Value targets.
  • Track and report Social Value activities and maintain accurate data records.
  • Organise and support job fairs, school visits, and local community projects.
  • Assist with sustainability tracking, including waste and CO₂ reduction.
  • Ensure Social Value compliance with clients and supply chain partners.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Business, Social Sciences, or Sustainability.
  • Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Attention to detail in data entry and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience or interest in CSR, Social Value, or Sustainability (especially in construction).
  • Familiarity with the TOMS Framework and Social Value metrics.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and SME engagement.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
