Workman’s Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established renewable energy company specialising in solar energy systems, battery storage, and sustainable energy solutions for residential and commerical sectors

We are currently looking for an experienced PV Electrician for a large-scale residential development project in Milton Keynes, involving the installation of solar systems across 200 new build homes.

Role Overview

This hands-on role involves the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of residential solar PV systems. You’ll play a key part in ensuring efficient cable management, accurate labelling, and the overall success of on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform labelling, cable management, and commissioning of residential solar PV systems.
  • Oversee the commissioning and maintenance of domestic and commercial PV systems, including battery storage.
  • Support installation teams when required.
  • Work closely with Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Provide clear, professional communication with clients and end-users.
  • Uphold all safety protocols and site-specific regulations.

Requirements

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential)
  • Gold ECS Card (essential)
  • Proven experience commissioning PV systems and installing Solar PV
  • Must supply own tools, PPE, and transportation
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional, reliable, and courteous in all client interactions

Pay & Benefits

  • £200 – £250 per day (UTR/CIS)
  • Overtime Paid at 1.5x
  • Weekend Work Available Paid at 2x
