About the Role
This is a strategic recruitment position within a mission-led organisation that truly prioritises its people. As Senior Recruiter, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s hiring strategy, leading recruitment for senior and specialist roles while acting as a trusted partner to the leadership team. You’ll take ownership of managing agency partnerships and PSL, building strong talent pipelines, and delivering brilliant candidate experiences that attract the very best people to drive the organisation forward.
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for senior, niche, and leadership positions across the organisation
- Partner with business leaders to understand needs, advise on hiring strategies, and influence decision-making with data and insights
- Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, and headhunting techniques
- Ensure candidates experience a smooth, transparent, and positive journey throughout the recruitment process
- Manage and develop PSL and agency partnerships, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and fees to maximise value while maintaining strong professional relationships
- Track performance and provide regular reviews to maintain high quality and efficiency standards
- Share market intelligence, salary benchmarking, and competitor insights with hiring managers
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and support diversity and inclusion goals across the organisation
- Monitor key recruitment metrics to identify improvements and drive better outcomes
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a recruitment role with proven track record of success
- 1 year’s experience recruiting for senior and leadership positions
- Experience managing PSLs and agency relationships with strong negotiation and performance management skills
- Strong experience with direct sourcing tools and techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, headhunting)
- Proven ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environments
- Hands-on experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and external applicants
- Strong computer literacy including Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency
- Highly organised, proactive approach with ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
- Five years’ experience in recruitment and direct sourcing (preferably within healthcare)
- Experience recruiting at senior level within both in-house and agency environments
- Background in managing executive search firms or retained search assignments
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities

- Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
